With more than 20 years of experience in operations and financial management, accounting, risk management, office administration, and human resources, Dion provides oversight and guidance on company-wide strategic planning, finance, and operations. Dion has a strong track record of building high-performance teams and promoting positive, collaborative cultures to produce measurable results.
Chief Operating Officer
Michael joined ONEC in 2021 and is a Civil Engineer with over 25 years of both practical and managerial experience in the civil construction industry. He is well-versed in the management of large groups of employees, the planning and execution of large industrial projects, and working with financial and legal partners. Michael strives to lead with accountability when collaborating with ownership groups and boards of directors and is proficient in the development of long-term successful client and Indigenous relations. He has previously served as a director for businesses and community support/charitable institutions and is committed to championing Health, Safety, and Environment.
Senior Operational Advisor
Jerome joined ONEC in 2006 and became a Director in 2013. He is a dual-ticketed Journeyman with over 25 years of shop, field, and shutdown experience. Jerome has been involved in the planning and coordination of multiple shutdowns throughout his career and is well-versed in the direction and management of multi-discipline projects. Jerome serves in an Operational Advisor capacity on global aspects and goals of ONEC’s business and special projects.

Gilles joined ONEC in 2019 and is an HSE professional with over 17 years of experience. His experience includes management systems, continuous improvement, leadership, risk assessment, hazard reduction, incident investigation, and policy and procedure development. Gilles’ experience spans many industries including oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, construction, and open space development.

Connie Wichniewicz joined ONEC in 2021. She is an innovative and operationally creative leader with 13 years of progressive experience working in the construction industry in both Union and Non-Union environments. Connie enjoys building teams and systems, loves a challenge, and truly values people.
Jolene joined ONEC in 2017. With just under 20 years of engineering consulting experience in oil and gas, Jolene is a highly talented and sought-after project leader. From her beginnings providing project support in Hope Bay, Nunavut, to coordinating the Northern Gateway and the Trans Mountain Expansion projects, Jolene has been instrumental in the successful execution and delivery of many high-profile developments. The recipient of multiple excellence awards for customer service, Jolene is a natural communicator with a keen focus on getting things done expeditiously and accurately. On several occasions, clients have stated that she brings the “human factor” back into engineering. Jolene’s abilities, coupled with her communication talents, ensure that team members are fully aware and engaged from project start-up to close-out.
