In recognition of the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, ONEC’s Canadian facilities will be closed on Thursday, September 30th.
At ONEC, we have encouraged our staff to spend this day honouring and remembering the lost children and survivors of residential schools and their families and communities.
We remain committed to educating ourselves on the history of residential schools and associated trauma in Canada to support the reconciliation of relations with Indigenous Peoples, and the ongoing pursuit of our corporate goal of shared success by continuing to enact Indigenous Inclusion practices within our businesses and partnerships.
We wish Indigenous communities healing on this day and every day.
